KERI BERGERON
Keri is a Physical Therapist with over 15 years of experience. She initially fell in love with the physical practice of yoga as a natural adjunct to her extensive study of the body. Since then, she has sought great teachers like Ana Forrest, Darren Rhodes, Christina Sell, Andrei Ram, and Janet Stone. These teachers, along with dear friends and deep inquiry have helped her to access her heart, inner strength and softness. She has been teaching for over a decade, hoping to share some of the tremendous benefits she has experienced.
Alignment has become the main principle that guides Keri’s teaching. She believes that proper physical alignment and engagement are essential for safety, stability and space within the body. She believes that this engagement starts on the surface and “trickles inward” to build internal awareness—a deep listening—that helps students move through the world in alignment with their truest Self.
Keri is passionate about fostering autonomy. She wants to educate her students about the “how” and “why” behind the practice in order to truly experience the process within their bodies. She wants to educate rather than dictate, believing that students connect more by listening closely to their own bodies and breath than relying on an external “guru”.
Building personal relationships and fostering community are paramount for Keri. She wants to hear about your practice, the sparks and the challenges you’re experiencing. She wants to know you!

EMILY COUTO
Emily Couto has been practicing yoga for over a decade, and became a registered yoga teacher at the 200 hour level in 2013. She came to the practice with a love of movement, but little inner awareness. Through the years she has gained a deep understanding of body and energetic awareness, alignment, and action. In teaching, she aims to anchor her students into their bodies and their breath in order to more fully experience all that the moment has to offer them. Every moment is an opportunity for growth, whether it be into a new shape or a deeper breath. She also firmly believes that ANYONE can do yoga, whether or not you can touch your toes! In her classes you will be directed breath by breath through intelligent sequencing meant to challenge, awaken, and ultimately soothe you into a state of simply being, without judgement or expectation.
